New Web Page Format, Other News

As witches and wizards discover that you can get a great wizard wand from a muggle, and my portfolio has increased, I've been wanting to move to a new web page format to make shopping easier. Bear with me as I work out the bugs. Now you can click on the photos to the left, as before, to take you to wand listings of Wizard School House Wands, Two-Piece Hardwood Wands, and Single-Piece Hardwood Wands. I'm also adding Mini-Wands to the shortcuts, and a new "Catalog" page where you can browse by photograph, hoping that it will make it a smoother experience. As always, I'm limited in format by the blogger.com gadgets, since I'm keeping costs to you lower by doing as much as I can for free, and with no knowledge of HTML. I hope it has helped. This page then will be more of a current-events or blog posting, like my woodwork home page.

Other exciting news: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 opens in the theaters in a few weeks. In conjunction with their premiere party, Megaplex Theaters has invited Muggle Wandmaker to set up shop in their Ogden Junction location (they wanted me at other theaters too, but I'm much to small for that much work). On November 18th, I'll have my lathe and a display of around 300 wands set up in the main entrance. Make sure to stop by and arm yourself before the Death Eaters take over the Ministry - you wouldn't want to be caught unprepared and wandless! I'll be making wands live too.

The premiere party is a paid event that gets you into things like sorting (get a Hogwarts House scarf), wizard chess, and other events. What they haven't advertised much yet, however, is that they're going to have an entire wizarding village - Hogsmeade style - set up in their conference rooms, and that their restaurants will be selling Harry Potter themed food, and all of this will be free to all on Thursday the 18th after 5:00 pm, and also on Friday the 19th, Saturday the 20th, and Sunday the 21st. I will not be there Sunday, so don't miss out and come before Saturday Midnight.

So don't spend all your money on butterbeer or fizzing whisbees till AFTER you get chosen by one of my wands! See you there!
